IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ Toyota Models Excel in Crash Tests

Safety requirements must be met in order for any vehicle to make it onto the road. However, some vehicles reach a level beyond the minimum requirements and excel in Insurance Institute for Highway Safety crash tests.

The vehicles that earn top marks in these tests earn the IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ title.

What does it take to earn this qualification?

A vehicle has to score "good" ratings in five different IIHS crash tests designed to assess how well it protect passengers in different types of accident situations (frontal collisions, side impacts, rollovers, etc.).
